The Lock Up programme of events 2018/19
Book early to avoid disappointment as we take you on a food and wine journey, the likes that have never been travelled in Redfield before.
Tuesday 25th September – Fish Night. Aidan cooks up an ocean storm once again highlighting seasonal produce with some of the best examples of seafood that Cornwall has to offer with an emphasis on crustaceans. Big fish, little fish, Octopus! Wine flight will be highlights from some of Italy’s finest growing reagions.
Saturday October 6th – 6 O’clock gin tasting. Chris Reynolds will be on the terrace all afternoon, showcasing the entire range of this awesome Bristol gin with a few canapes, savoury and sweet. No neet to book, just roll up for a taste of the Mother’s Ruin!
Tuesday 23rd October – Game night. From the Quantocks to the Mendips. Five courses showcasing some of the finest fowl and Dearest deer. Learn how to pair grouse with Gewurztraminer and rabbit with Riesling. And not a poker chip in sight!
Wednesday 21st November – Beeeeef! From bleu to stew in some tongue in between we celebrate all things bovine with some amazing wine. The Carpaccio with Chianti & Chuck with Syrah!
Thursday 14th February 2019 – Valentines night. We will be serving a 5 course menu, with a wine flight including bubbles all night. Due to popular demand we will also offer this menu upstairs on the Friday 15th February.
Wednesday 13th March 2019 – Foraged menu. Wild garlic, mushrooms, tickled trout and Danny the Champion of the World. A menu of wild produce, sourced from some of the country’s finest foragers. Elder flowers and Alexanders, Sloe gin cocktails & wild fennel tea!
